Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE Troubleshooting
Use this guide to resolve common setup, calibration, binding, landing gear LED, and simulator issues with the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE.
My Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE is not being detected by my computer
- Ensure the USB-C cable is securely connected to the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE
- Try a different USB port
- Avoid USB hubs if possible
- Restart your computer and reconnect the device
- Confirm the device appears in Windows Game Controllers or your operating system input settings
- Try another USB-C to USB-A cable if available
For best results, connect the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE directly to your computer before launching your simulator.
The Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE is connected but not working in my simulator
- Confirm the device is recognized by your operating system
- Open your simulator control settings
- Verify that the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE is selected
- Assign or verify throttle, flap, trim, parking brake, and landing gear controls
- Restart the simulator after connecting the device
- Remove duplicate or conflicting assignments from other controllers
My throttle levers are not responding
- Verify each lever is assigned to the correct simulator axis
- Confirm the correct aircraft profile is selected
- Move each lever through its full travel range
- Remove duplicate throttle assignments from other devices
- Restart your simulator after changing bindings
- Test the levers in another aircraft
My throttle, flap, or trim axis is reversed
- Open your simulator control settings
- Reverse the affected axis
- Test the lever or trim wheel again
- Adjust sensitivity and dead zones if needed
- Save the profile after making changes
Some aircraft or simulators may require reversed throttle, flap, or trim axes depending on how the control profile is configured.
The flap positions do not match my aircraft
- Confirm the flap axis is assigned correctly
- Use the appropriate flap detent inlays for your aircraft type
- Adjust flap sensitivity or response curves if supported
- Reassign flap controls if behavior seems inconsistent
- Test with another aircraft to determine whether the behavior is aircraft-specific
The trim wheel is not responding
- Confirm the trim wheel is assigned to pitch trim
- Remove duplicate trim assignments from other devices
- Check whether the aircraft supports external trim input
- Test the trim wheel in another aircraft
- Restart the simulator after making binding changes
The parking brake lever is not working
- Verify the parking brake control is assigned
- Check whether the simulator expects a toggle, hold, or set command
- Remove duplicate parking brake bindings
- Test with another aircraft
- Reassign the parking brake control if needed
The landing gear lever is not working
- Verify the landing gear command is assigned correctly
- Confirm the aircraft has retractable landing gear
- Remove duplicate gear bindings from other devices
- Restart the simulator after making changes
- Test with another aircraft that supports retractable gear
The landing gear LED indicator is not working
- Confirm the aircraft supports landing gear status feedback
- Install the Honeycomb landing gear LED driver if required
- Confirm you downloaded the correct driver for your simulator version
- Restart your simulator after installing the driver
- Test with a supported aircraft
- Restart your computer if the LED indicator still does not respond
The throttle levers feel too loose or too tight
The Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE includes adjustable lever tension.
- Adjust the tension control to your preferred resistance
- Move all levers through their full range after adjusting
- Test lever movement before launching your simulator
- Avoid overtightening the tension control
My simulator is detecting duplicate inputs
Duplicate inputs can occur when multiple flight controllers are connected or when a simulator assigns controls automatically.
- Remove duplicate throttle, flap, trim, parking brake, or gear bindings
- Disconnect unused controllers temporarily
- Review automatically assigned simulator profiles
- Clear bindings you do not intend to use
- Reassign only the controls needed for your aircraft
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 controls are not mapped correctly
- Download Honeycomb's available MSFS 2024 profiles
- Confirm the profile is assigned to the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE
- Verify each axis manually
- Install the landing gear LED driver if required
- Restart the simulator after importing profiles or drivers
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 controls are not mapped correctly
- Verify the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE profile is active
- Assign throttle, flap, trim, parking brake, and gear controls manually if needed
- Install the landing gear LED driver if required
- Remove duplicate bindings
- Restart the simulator after making changes
X-Plane controls are not mapped correctly
- Open X-Plane joystick settings
- Calibrate each lever and control
- Assign throttle, flap, trim, parking brake, and gear controls manually
- Save the profile after configuration
- Test with a supported aircraft
Prepar3D controls are not mapped correctly
- Open controller settings in Prepar3D
- Assign the throttle and related axes
- Remove duplicate inputs
- Calibrate if needed
- Save your control configuration
The Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE is not working on Xbox
The Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE is designed for PC and Mac.
For Xbox support with Honeycomb products, use supported Xbox-compatible Honeycomb hardware with the Alpha Flight Controls XPC and Honeycomb Xbox Hub where applicable.
Firmware, driver, profile, or download issues
- Close all simulation software before installing profiles or drivers
- Confirm you downloaded the correct file for Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE
- Try a different browser if a download does not start
- Run installers as Administrator when required
- Restart your simulator after importing profiles or installing drivers
- Restart your computer if the device or LEDs do not appear after setup
General performance issues
- Ensure your simulator is up to date
- Check for Honeycomb profiles or updates
- Remove duplicate controller assignments
- Test the Bravo Throttle Quadrant LITE in another aircraft
- Test the device in another simulator or input utility
